Is urethane cement the same as epoxy?
No. Epoxy bonds to concrete and builds a hard, glossy wear surface. Urethane cement is a thicker, cement-based system that moves with the slab through heat and cold, which is why it survives hot washdowns and freezer thresholds that crack ordinary coatings. Many facilities use both: urethane cement in the wet and hot areas, epoxy in the dry ones.
Can you install while the kitchen or plant keeps operating?
Yes. We phase the install by section and work nights and weekends. The plan is built backward from the day you need the floor in service, and we put the schedule in writing.
Does it work in freezers and coolers?
Yes. Urethane cement handles the temperature swings at freezer and cooler thresholds that break ordinary coatings, and specific formulations cure at low temperatures. Tell us the room temperatures you run and we spec to them.
