Straight answers

Philadelphia area floor questions, answered.

Who installs epoxy garage and basement floors in Philadelphia neighborhoods like Chestnut Hill, the Northeast, and South Philly?
Liberty Epoxy installs garage and basement floors across Philadelphia and the nearby suburbs. We're a third-generation family crew, and our family flooring trade started in 1964. You can choose flake, solid color, or metallic.
Which Philadelphia suburbs do you cover outside the Main Line?
We cover Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, and Chester County suburbs, including Abington, Ambler, Newtown, Yardley, Springfield, Wallingford, Chadds Ford, and West Chester. Send your address or call if you want to confirm coverage for your home.
Can you epoxy a Philadelphia rowhome basement with a damp, painted floor?
Yes, in most cases, after we see it. We grind off every failed layer of paint down to clean concrete and choose the system for the floor we see. If the basement has a water problem a coating can't fix, we tell you before we start. We look at every one in person before pricing.
How much does an epoxy garage floor cost in Philadelphia?
Each floor gets its own written all-in price, set by the square footage, the condition of the concrete, and the system you choose. The one quote covers prep, materials, labor, and the one-year warranty. Send the form or call and we reply the same day.
How long does an epoxy floor take, and when can I park on it?
Two days on site for most garages and basements. Walk on the floor in about a day, park on it in about three, and the full cure takes roughly a week. For a basement we tell you when the furniture can come back.
Does road salt from the Boulevard, the Turnpike, or I-95 wreck an epoxy garage floor?
Epoxy can protect a garage floor from road salt and make cleanup easier. We remove damaged surface material and repair the concrete before coating. Salt and slush on the finished floor can be mopped or rinsed away.
What is the difference between your floor and a hardware store epoxy kit?
Preparation and thickness are the main differences. We diamond grind the concrete and use 100% solids epoxy, with the coating thickness stated on your quote. We remove failed existing coatings before installing the new floor.
Do you warranty the floor?
Yes, one year in writing on every floor we install, in the city or the suburbs. The warranty is on the quote with the prep, the materials, and the system build, so you know what you're getting before you sign.
