Each room in a brewery does different work, so each one gets its own floor. The brewhouse and cellar get urethane cement for hot liquids and caustic cleaning, carried up the wall at the edges. The taproom can have flake or metallic epoxy.

Straight answers
Brewery floors, in plain terms.
Can you coat our brewery floor without shutting down a brew week?
Often, yes. We plan around your brewing schedule and do one area at a time, overnight or on days you aren’t brewing. We agree on cure times before we start.
Can urethane cement handle our brewery's caustic cleaning products?
Urethane cement can handle caustic cleaning and swings between hot and cold liquids. Send us the cleaners and temperatures you use, and we’ll pick the formulation and thickness to match.
What goes in the taproom instead of urethane cement?
Flake or metallic epoxy. Both give the taproom a finished floor that mops clean, and non-slip texture comes with every commercial floor. Polyaspartic is an option where the job calls for it.
Do you slope the floor to our trench drains and build the cove base?
Yes. We repair low spots and damaged joints, shape the floor toward the drains, and carry the coating up the wall to form a curved edge called a cove base.
