The Main Line

Main Line concrete is our everyday work.

Main Line homes were not built yesterday. Lower Merion, Radnor and Tredyffrin garages, stone-twin basements, slabs that have soaked up decades of road salt: that is the concrete we grind and coat every week. Our family has installed epoxy across Philadelphia and the Main Line since 1964, so we read how a floor will move before we open the first bucket.

  • Diamond grinding prep on the whole slab, the step paint kits skip
  • Zero-VOC, 100% solids epoxy, no thinned product
  • Flake, quartz, solid color, or metallic, matched to your space
  • One all-in price with a one-year warranty, in writing

Straight answers

Main Line floor questions, answered.

Who installs epoxy floors on the Main Line?
Liberty Epoxy Philadelphia, a family business in the floor trade since 1964. Our third-generation crew installs garage and basement floors in every Main Line town, from Bala Cynwyd and Ardmore out to Wayne, Berwyn, Paoli and Malvern. Licensed PA HIC #128520 and insured.
Which Main Line towns do you cover?
All of them: Bala Cynwyd, Merion, Narberth, Penn Valley, Wynnewood, Ardmore, Haverford, Gladwyne, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Villanova, Radnor, St. Davids, Wayne, Strafford, Devon, Berwyn, Paoli and Malvern, plus Havertown, Newtown Square, Conshohocken and King of Prussia nearby. On the edge? Call (267) 225-3989 and we'll tell you straight.
What does an epoxy garage floor cost on the Main Line?
Every floor is priced on its own. Square footage, concrete condition and the system you pick all change the number. Send the form or call and we reply the same day with one written all-in price: prep, materials, labor and warranty, no hidden costs.
How long does the install take?
Most garages and basements take two days on site. Light foot traffic in about 24 hours, vehicles in about 72, full cure in roughly a week.
Will it hold up to road salt?
Yes. We diamond-grind the slab first, so the 100% solids epoxy bonds into the concrete instead of sitting on top of it. Our road salt guide explains what salt does to bare concrete and what a coated floor changes.
Can you coat an older or damp basement?
Usually, yes. We check the slab before quoting and spec a moisture-tolerant system when the basement needs one. The quote is matched to your floor, never a guess.
Why not use a DIY kit?
Kits are about 3 mils of water-based product over acid-etch prep, against a 20 to 40+ mil professional system on a diamond-ground slab. Anywhere cars park, a kit wastes money, and a failed kit floor has to be ground off before a proper system goes down.
What warranty comes with the floor?
One year, in writing, on every floor we install.
